Agri-Ventures

Backed by rich consulting experience in plantations, Lucky Group has ventured into development of plantations in a big way. The Group company, Verdanta Harvests PLC, runs a tea & allied crop estate spread across 3012 hectares in the Gambela region of Ethiopia. Developed under the Foreign Direct Investment Programme of the Ethiopian government, Verdanta Harvests will produce top quality tea which has a high demand in local as well as international markets. The region has ideal agro-climate and good water resources for plantations of Tea and Coffee along with medicinal herbs. The project provides ample employment opportunities in the region along with sound social infrastructure in the form of schools, health centers, roads and more.
